Chemical pump for corrosive environment.

Chemical pumps must not only be corrosion-resistant but must also be kept closed: acid, alkaline or solvent leakage is dangerous for people and the environment. Two questions to be answered before choosing a pump are the material and type of sealing of the axis.

Materially

Based on the substance, concentration, temperature and chloride content: gel for neutral environment, 316L stainless steel for many lightweight organic acids, double-phase steel when there is chloride, high-end alloy or plastic coating pump for strong acids. Always look at the compatibility table instead of decomposing from the same leather.

Run close to the BEP to be more durable, not dry, check the viscosity and actual weight of the material because the water-selected pump will deviate characteristics, and there is a safe discharge option during maintenance.
