Wastewater pumping stations work with liquid containing solid substances, fabric, paper and oil, different from clean water pumps. Two popular options are submersible pumps placed in the hole and dry pumps placed in a separate chamber.

Design of hole.
The minimum water level must be sufficient to avoid gas suction and tornadoes; too large holes cause seizure, too small cause the pump to start too often.
Install and Maintain.
The navigation rail system and the bottom joint allow the pump to be pulled up without going down the hole. H2S gas in the hole is strongly corrosive electrical and concrete equipment, so it requires closed cables and connectors, ventilation, and loop materials with paint or stainless steel coating.
