Vacuum distillation in the oil refinery.

The vacuum distillation tower (VDU) separates the deposition of the atmospheric tower into segments such as vacuum gasoil and oily oil without raising too high temperatures causing cracking.

The foot system.

Traditional systems use multi-layer steam ejector with a suspension tank. On the end floor or in the small system, the liquid ring pump replaces several layers of ejector to reduce the consumption of steam and water that stops oil contamination. The configuration combines "ejector + liquid ring pump" for deep vacuum at a slightly lower cost.

The smoking gas.

Includes air, light cracking gas (H2, light hydrocarbon), H2S and steam. This mixture is both flammable and corrosive.

• Material resistant to H2S and yogurt (stainless steel or two-phase, depending on temperature and chloride content).
• Circular fluid absorbs heavy hydrocarbons so it needs oil separation and wastewater treatment; closed circuit has coolers that reduce wastewater volume.
• Explosion-resistant, grounding and dry protection equipment according to hazardous area standards.

Replace a portion of the ejector layer with a liquid ring pump that reduces the consumption of medium pressure but increases the power consumption; it is recommended to calculate the total cost of steam, electricity and water to select the configuration.
