Create a vacuum for water in the paper industry.

On the carton, the water is removed from the wet paper sheet not only by mechanical pressing but also by vacuum in various locations: flat box, suction couch, suction press. Each position needs a different vacuum level, from a few kPa to a few dozen kPa under atmospheric pressure, with a very large flow of air as well as water and fiber.

Why use a fluid pump?

The suction air flow is always saturated with water and pulls with liquid droplets, fibers and paper powder. The liquid ring pump withstands this condition, the structure is simple, the details are less wearable and can run for months continuously.

Design of foot.

• Gas separator–water placed in front of the pump to reduce water and fiber entering.
• Divide multiple pumps by vacuum level instead of one pump for each location, avoiding waste of electricity.
• Filter grid and periodic drainage doors for waterway sealing, because the fiber is easy to block the spray.

Compared to the centrifuge.

Many modern paper plants partially replace the liquid ring pump with a multi-layer centrifugal blower to save electricity, especially in low vacuum range and large flow.

Cost of operation.

Power is the largest amount, then water sealing.Circular water coolers, frequency inverters for large capacity pumps and the sewage leakage blocking brings a marked level of savings.
