The boiler usually works in a vacuum depth of 600–650 mmHg on a vacuum scale (absolute pressure of 110–160 mmHg), depending on the plant design.

• Water and sealing water are easy to pull and smooth, need to be filtered and separated before the pump.
• Hard water high in Ca2+ creates stain in the pump, which needs periodic softening or detoxification.
• Short service season, running continuously 24/24: priority is given to reserve pumping and maintenance rope in the outside of the service.

The steam cessation is due to the suspension of the vessel (spray type or beam tube); the fluid ring pump only sucks the non-stop air out of the vessel.Therefore, choose the pump according to the amount of gas and the dissolved air, not according to the amount of vapor.
