Food and Beverage Factory.

In the food and beverage factory, the medium pump transporting products (milk, soft water, beer, juice) serves both utilities (cold water, CIP water, boiler water supply).

The toilet design.

304 or 316L stainless steel material, polished contact surface (Ra glare usually not more than 0.8 μm), no dead angle or holding slot, sealed with food-standarded material (EPDM, FKM according to the FDA). Reference standards include EHEDG and 3-A.

Clean up on site (CIP)

The CIP line runs through the pump at a sufficiently high speed (usually around 1.5 m/s in the pipeline) for drainage. The pump must withstand alkaline, acid and hot water, and drain completely after washing.

Product sensitive to cutting power.

Milk, beer, grain juice are prone to structural destruction if the pump turns too fast or the wing causes severe disturbance. With products that need protection, select low-speed, open wings or volume pumps such as lobe pumps; centrifugal pumps are suitable for diluted fluids and water utilities.

Water is useful.

Most of the pumps in the factory are cold water pumps, heating water, steam water supply; use standard centrifugal pumps such as KCP, XA with frequency inverters to save electricity and reduce noise.
